Verona AI is an early-stage company incorporated in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in 2026. We build deployable AI agents for small businesses — the retailers, clinics, restaurants and practices that enterprise AI vendors fly straight over.
Small businesses don’t need AI strategy. They need another pair of hands.
Every wave of business software has reached small businesses last, watered-down, or not at all. AI is repeating the pattern: the tools are built for enterprises with IT departments, and everyone else is offered either a toy chatbot or a consulting proposal.
We think the right shape for small-business AI is an employee-shaped product: an agent that does one job properly — answering customers, processing paperwork, running back-office workflows — that you can subscribe to like you’d hire a part-timer, and supervise like you’d supervise anyone new.
That is what we are building. Three agents are in development now, and we are deliberately launching them slowly, with small early-access groups, so that every capability we advertise is one we have actually watched work.
Why “Verona”, and why the bridge.
Verona’s Ponte Pietra has carried people across the Adige for two thousand years — rebuilt after every flood and war, still doing its job. That is the standard we want for software that stands between a business and its customers: quietly reliable, worth rebuilding well.
Our mark, the Arco, draws the two ideas together: a straight stroke and an arched stroke forming a V, with the negative space between them tracing a bridge arch. And because “Verona” alone belongs to a crowded namespace, we are always the full two words: Verona AI.

Honesty over hype
No invented customers, no borrowed logos, no “trusted by thousands” before there are thousands. If a page on this site describes a capability, it is labelled with its real status.
Vertical beats general
An agent that deeply understands clinic reception beats a general chatbot with a clinic skin. We build for retail, clinics, hospitality and professional services first — depth before breadth.
Privacy is the product
Small businesses hold their customers’ trust in person. Software that betrays it doesn’t deserve the desk. No data sales, no ad SDKs, no training on your content for others without consent.
